After I purchased a building and housed it with my workers I was shocked at the amount of money I was losing; I didn’t feel there was anything extra though, and where was the money going? I had a fellow corporation owner suggest an energy afternoonorin system, however this is a system that determines areas of waste and suggests how to repair them. I found that building an energy management system saved me so much money. I found that the heating and cooling system goes all year long. That Is no good. I found that with a building automation plan I could schedule everything out to save substantial amounts of money, however now in the summer time the AC only turns on at the start of the work afternoon. The thermostat is set quite high and only lowers when the sunlight is at its highest and hottest; At 5 pm though, the AC powers off. I realize I am not promoting toiling late despite the fact that I need to save money. Another thing that I purchased was an integrated lighting system. Now when my workers go to their office, the lights automatically greet them. When they leave, the lights power off, even to go to the bathroom, but you might know that the lights are just a few bucks at the end of the afternoon, however that adds up, and my energy monitoring system also helps me identify areas that are more wasteful than others. Not just categories however actual spots in the building. That has been super helpful. My savings have been substantial and allowed me to invest in a building analytics system.
