As an Heating and A/C tech I am constantly looking for chances to find new clients! The salary of an Heating and A/C repairman is pretty low, so I want to start our own business in a few years, and when I was younger I knew that I would have our own dealer, but I was never quite sure what it was… I did okay in middle school, but didn’t think smart enough to start a business or get a high paying task. I joined the Heating and A/C repair program with our friends and both of us started to service A/C units on the side. It was a nice side task while in school, and it led to a task with a local Heating and A/C provider when I graduated. I remember the first air conditioner I fixed for a real client, and how cheerful it made me and them! I have had several conversations with our boss about the possibilities available to me, and I am pretty optimistic. It took our boss 7 years to have his own Heating and A/C dealer, and I think I am on the right track, but my boss told me it’s a fantastic method to specialize in something, so I have taken an interest in the newest heating and cooling technologies, a lot of our friends do basic oil furnace repairs and A/C component installations, but I am more interested in the higher paying tasks. That’s why I am studying about smart thermostats and ductless A/C units. I think that the future is all automated and studying about the new products now will be undoubtedly beneficial for our Heating and A/C dealer.
